Republicans: Big on Military, No Moral Values

VIEW ALL: Polls

There’s a great NY Times chart illustrating public perceptions of the president and both major parties.

President Bush’s perceived competence shows growing disapproval and declining approval across all areas: job as president, managing the campaign against terrorism, foreign policy, Iraq, and the economy.

A review of party perceptions shows that those polled (regardless of how they actually vote) believe that republicans are more likely to make sure the military is strong and may make better decisions regarding terrorism, but when it comes to moral values, immigration, fairness in taxes, education, civil liberties, health care, prescription drugs and lowering gas prices? It’s all democrats, baby!
