Hayden at CIA? Ready, Aim, Fire…

VIEW ALL: CIA

President Bush is coming under fire for floating Air Force General Michael Hayden, former head of the NSA, as the next director of the Central Intelligence Agency. Hayden is military. The CIA is a civilian agency. A tough sell to both Democrats and Republicans.

“Bottom line: I do believe he’s the wrong person, the wrong place at the wrong time,” Rep. Pete Hoekstra, chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, told “Fox News,” adding that if Hayden took the helm at the CIA, the perception would be that Hayden was under the sway of Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld.

  1. This is as near to a criminal act as GW can come, I pointed out in my post tonight the eery comparisons to these actions at the CIA and the SS, and no, I am not a Conspiracy Theorist, more aptly a Comparison Theorist. Life from the trenches….literally: A Week In Preview: A Future In Doubt. Could this be our “Muslim Final Solution”?
